Who do you provide Respite services to?
We specialize in serving families with individuals who have developmental disabilities and other special needs.
What types of respite options do you provide?
Currently, our respite services take place in the family's home or in the community. We do not have out of home respite options at this time.
What is your age range of individuals you serve?
We specialize in caring for children and teens, typically ages 5-18 years old. However, we have served young adults as well.
What cities do you serve?
TRG serves families in the West and South Metro parts of Minnesota. We are most successful with pairing families with care in the cities of Minneapolis, Saint Louis Park, Hopkins, Golden Valley, Minnetonka, Edina, Richfield, Bloomington, Eden Prairie, and Plymouth.
Can your staff transport?
Yes, TRG’s vehicle policy allows our staff members to transport individuals in their vehicles. TRG also reimburses staff for mileage at the federal rate. Families are required to provide any needed adaptations, car seats, etc...
What requirements and training do you require of your staff?
TRG conducts Background Checks on all staff members. TRG also requires CPR and First Aid training. We also provide time for our staff time to meet and train with in the home setting with the families prior to care sessions starting. TRG is also open to providing any additional training that may help staff be more successful with the individual.
Do you accept State Disability Assistance?
We can accept payment by waiver from families using the CDSC (Consumer Directed Community Supports) service option. Families should seek approval of TRG services through their county caseworker.
Do you do all the payroll for staff?
Yes, TRG takes care of all payment for staff. We pay their portion of Social Security tax, Medicare tax, and both Federal and State Unemployment tax. We also provide General & Professional Liability insurance as well as Worker’s Compensation insurance.
